Alzheimer’s
Almost 4000 scientists gathered in Hawaii this July for the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference on Alzheimer’s disease. Information was presented on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Several reports showed that persons with Alzheimer’s disease are at a higher risk to develop other diseases as well. Some reports showed possible increases in cognitive ability using medications, food and other environmental changes. For more information on the event and reports go to www.alz.org. World Alzheimer’s Day is September 21.Â
